Mergers & Acquisitions

Mergers and acquisitions, while an exciting transition time for many companies, can be stressful. Executives, employees, and external players must work together to quickly turn over branding and signage in new (and sometimes old) spaces. Cooperating with an experienced and knowledgeable sign company is key to a smooth and efficient rebranding process.

Use a rebrand to create clarity and unity.

Large mergers and acquisitions often require a reimagined brand strategy. Your business has changed, and so should the way you approach branding. A merger or acquisition is the time to evaluate your brand. What’s working? What isn’t? Address the successes and challenges of your organization and determine where to make changes in your branding to better suit your goals. In doing so, your rebranding will provide you with clarity in your organizational missions and values. With our high-quality signage, this newly-revamped brand will stand out in a way that resonates with both customers and employees.

Reinforce your brand.

The most difficult aspect of navigating a merger or acquisition is reinforcing the switch or combination of brands. A mainstay of brand recognition is signage; it is critical for your signage to communicate your brand, especially when customers may be familiar with another brand inhabiting the space. High-end signage will help customers to remember your brand, creating trust and loyalty between you and them.

We convert locations quickly, so you can move forward.

Another key aspect to any merger or acquisition is timing. Making sure that the signage of your locations is converted quickly ensures that you can move forward with promoting your new brand and boosting sales. A fast changeover avoids confusing your customers or muddling the identity of your brand. Even in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic, when everything from public policy to public opinion is rapidly changing, we are committed to seeking out the unique solutions that fit your unique situation. Our team is experienced and efficient, utilizing top-of-the-line software and a state-of-the-art manufacturing facility, ensuring that all your sites will have new, quality signage in no time.

Our experience means we don’t just talk the talk, we walk the walk.

We’ve helped many national brands in their M&A pursuits, meaning we have the expertise and know-how to get the job done, no matter how big or small. Check out some of our past projects:

Lineage Logistics came to North American Signs as a rapidly expanding cold storage facility network. In the process of completing a large deal of M&As, Lineage needed a sign company to handle the signage rebranding for over 40 newly acquired locations. North American Signs provided a wide variety of unique signage solutions, including an over 220 ft. roof painting, to create consistent branding for their locations all across the country.

ExtraSpace Storage, a national self-storage chain, has been acquiring locations all across the country in the last few years. In need of someone to deliver signage for new locations, or newly acquired locations, ExtraSpace Storage called upon North American Signs. New and old buildings present different types of challenges, but NAS designed, manufactured, and installed high-end signs for each of ExtraSpace’s many facilities, creating a polished and vibrant look for each location.

GrowGeneration, referred to as GrowGen, is the largest hydroponic equipment supplier in the U.S. A booming company, GrowGen needed a sign company that could handle a national signage project with both interior and exterior signage. We worked with GrowGen, providing channel letter signage, awnings, and wall vinyls to ensure each location had the proper branding and signage for a growing company looking to build brand recognition. The result was that every location had consistent, high-quality signage to fit the existing structures.
